Mumbai. The trailer of actress Jahnavi Kapoor’s upcoming film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl has been released. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film stars Janhvi Kapoor as Air Force officer Gunjan Saxena, who became the first woman to enter the war zone of Kargil in the 1999 India-Pakistan war. The trailer depicts the dreams and struggles of Airforce pilot Gunjan Saxena. The film is the story of Gunjan Saxena’s fight for equality in the Indian Air Force. The trailer also depicts the relationship of a father and daughter who always supported their daughter to fulfill her childhood dream of becoming a pilot.

In the film, actor Panjak Tripathi plays the role of Gunjan Saxena’s father. The trailer also stars Jahnavi Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi, who plays Jahnavi Kapoor’s brother. The film was first to be released in the cinema hall on March 13, Then the release of the film was postponed during Kovid-19 and now the film is going to release on Netflix. The film will be streamed on the streaming platform Netflix from August 12.
