CA Exam Rules Change: If graduate or post graduate students in commerce want to become CA, then they can register for CA IPC exam. Its duration is nine months. Graduate candidates do not have to appear for CA CPT test. Let us tell you about the new announcement.

CA means Chartered Accountant and is a general financial professional. Whose work is to prepare financial accounts, give financial advice, audit and analysis of accounts. CA also keeps track of tax payments. By becoming a CA, one gets a salary package of lakhs. And now the news is coming. Now the exams for Chartered Accountants will be held thrice a year instead of twice.

Chartered Accountants’ exams will now be held 3 times a year – The new system of holding Foundation/Intermediate course exams 3 times a year will be implemented from May/June. After this, students will be able to appear for the Chartered Accountancy examination in September and January also.

One can appear for CA entrance exam after passing 12th. There is no requirement of any particular stream for this. Must have passed 12th in any stream of Arts, Science, Commerce. The entrance exam of CA is called foundation exam. For this, first of all one has to take admission in the entry level course CPT. After CPT, one has to do IPCC and finally FC course. After completing the course, one can apply for membership in ICAI. Foundation exam of CA is the entrance test. It is organized twice a year. This examination is conducted once in the month of May and second time in the month of November. To appear in this test, one has to register with ICAI. There are total 4 papers in the foundation exam. In which there are two subjective and two objective. This exam is of 400 marks. To pass the foundation exam, it is necessary to score at least 50 percent i.e. 200 marks out of 400. Also, there should be at least 40 percent marks in each subject.
