Gold Price 8th May 2024: On Wednesday, a fall in the rates of gold and silver was also seen on MCX. The market remains bullish due to people buying jewelery during the wedding season.

Gold-Silver Price Today: In April, the gold rate had risen to its all-time high. But before Akshaya Tritiya, the rate of gold has declined. This has also brought some relief to people planning to buy gold. Gold has fallen by about Rs 2000 from the record level till now. On Wednesday, a fall in the rates of gold and silver was also seen on MCX. The market remains bullish due to people buying jewelery during the wedding season. But this time due to the price of gold reaching record level, sales are expected to be less on Akshaya Tritiya.

How much did gold fall from the record level?

On April 19, the rate of 24 carat gold had increased to Rs 73596 per 10 grams. But on Wednesday it was seen at Rs 71725. However, in Wednesday’s trading session, the price of gold saw an increase of Rs 57 per 10 grams. In this way, gold is trading at a fall of Rs 1,871 today. This decline has happened in the last 15 days. On the other hand, a fall in gold and silver was also seen on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX gold price) on Wednesday.

On MCX, gold was seen falling by Rs 138 and trending at Rs 71010. Silver has fallen by Rs 364 and is trending at Rs 82514 per kg. In the bullion market, 23 carat gold was seen at Rs 71438, 22 carat gold at Rs 65700 and 18 carat gold at Rs 53794 per 10 grams. Talking about silver, it remained at its old level. It saw a rise of only Rs 2 and reached Rs 81663 per kg.
