Summer Special Trains: In order to facilitate the passengers and meet their travel demand, Western Railways has decided to run 8 summer special trains on special fares.
Summer Special Trains: Summer has started and in view of the festival, there is a crowd of passengers in the trains. However, Railways has also completed its preparations for this. Central Railway said that special trains are being run for the convenience of passengers and to reduce the extra crowd of people in trains.
Keeping in view the passenger requirement of more trains from Mumbai to North during summer season and to reduce the extra rush, it has been decided to run 8 additional summer special train services between Mumbai and Varanasi.
LTT-Varanasi Weekly Special (8 Services)
04227 Weekly Special will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 13.00 hrs every Monday from 06.05.2024 to 27.05.2024 (4 trips) and reach Varanasi at 23.20 hrs the next day.
04228 Weekly Special will depart from Varanasi at 22.20 hrs every Saturday from 04.05.2024 to 25.05.2024 (4 trips) and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 10.30 hrs on the third day.
Where will the train stop?
This train will stop at Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur, Lucknow, Ayodhya Cantt, Ayodhya, Shahganj and Jaunpur on the way. Which includes one AC-2 tier, two AC-3 tier, 8 sleeper class, 11 general second class and 2 guard brake vans.
How will the booking be done?
Central Railway said that booking for special train number 04227 on special charges will open on 8.5.2024 at all computerized reservation centers and website www.irctc.co.in.
