In addition to the new Rs 1,498 prepaid plan, BSNL has come up with a promotional offer that offers an additional 90 days validity for customers recharging with Rs 2,399 vouchers. The Rs 2,399 BSNL prepaid recharge plan usually has a validity of 365 days.
The new Rs 1,498 BSNL prepaid recharge plan is available in the form of a data voucher STV. This means that it is specially designed to meet the data needs of the consumer. This plan includes 2GB high-speed daily data access for 365 days. If you use 2GB in a day, the data speed will drop to 40kbps.
BSNL had initially introduced the new Rs 1,498 prepaid recharge plan in the Chennai circle a few days back, which was first reported by keralatelecom.info. However, it is applicable on a PAN India basis and is now available in most of the BSNL circles including Assam, Gujarat, UP East and UP West, Kolkata, Telangana and Karnataka. Users can get the new 1,498 prepaid recharge plan directly through BSNL web portal or self-care customer care or by sending SMS message “STVDATA1498” to 123.
BSNL last year introduced the Rs 1,498 prepaid recharge plan that came with a total of 91GB of high-speed data for 365 days. However, that plan was dropped from most circles and has now been replaced with a new Rs 1,498 offer. New Rs. Along with the 1,498 prepaid recharge plan, BSNL has started offering an additional 90 days validity with its Rs 2,399 recharge plan. This extends the validity of the plan to 425 days from the existing 365 days. According to the report of OnlyTech, the promotional offer is valid till November 18.
The Rs 2,399 BSNL prepaid recharge plan offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day and 3 GB high-speed data access. It offers customers access to Personalized Ring Back Tone (PRBT) and ErosNow service.
