The prices of these plans are the same but the benefits have been reduced. The company has reduced the validity of these tariffs. According to reports, BSNL may hike tariffs to increase user and average gross revenue on average revenue during the next four to six months. BSNL has reduced the validity of its special tariff vouchers- Rs 49, Rs 75, Rs 94 apart from Rs 106, Rs 107, Rs 197 and Rs 397 plans. The special tariff voucher of Rs 49 used to come with a validity of 28 days, but now its validity has been reduced to 24 days. This special tariff voucher is for those customers who want to keep their plan active. In the voucher of the telecom company, calls are available at 45 paise per minute, 2 GB free data and 100 SMS free. BSNL’s Rs 75 plan will now get 50 days validity instead of 60 days. This plan also offers 100 minutes of voice calling, 2GB of free data and free BSNL default tunes for 50 days. BSNL’s Rs 94 STV will now get 75 days validity instead of 90 days. In this plan, 3 GB free data and BSNL default tunes will be available free for the first 60 days. After the free call, 30 paise per minute is charged for all outgoing calls.

Talk about plan vouchers of Rs 106 and Rs 107, then these plans now get 84 days validity instead of 100 days. Both these plans offer 100 minutes of voice calling, 3 GB free data and free BSNL tunes for the first 60 days.

At the same time, in the prepaid plan of Rs 197, now customers will get 150 days validity instead of 180 days. In this plan, unlimited voice calls to any network, 2 GB data per day, 100 free SMS per day and free subscription to Zing Music app are available. The telecom company also gives freebies for the first 18 days.


The validity of BSNL’s Rs 397 prepaid plan was 365 days. But now the company has reduced it to 300 days. The plan offers unlimited voice calls, 2 GB data per day, 100 free SMS per day, free Lokdhun content and free BSNL default tunes. Free service is offered for the first 60 days.
