There is a good news for the people of Bihar. In fact, after the Nitish Kumar government increased the Dearness Allowance of the employees last month, now the government can give two months’ dearness allowance to the employees simultaneously from this month i.e. October. According to the information, this proposal has also been approved in the cabinet meeting of the Government of Bihar. That is, now in October, along with the salary, the state government employees can also get dearness allowance for the months of July and August.

According to sources, the HRA rate has increased after the DA crosses the 25 per cent mark. Now the central government employee will get 9, 18 and 27 percent HRA instead of 8, 16 and 24 percent.

Significantly, in the month of July, the central government had announced to increase the DA of central employees, after which it was decided to increase the dearness allowance and dearness relief (DR) rate for employees and pensioners by 11 percent from July 1. With this the new rate of DA has increased from 17 percent to 28 percent.

According to the information received, the employees from level-1 to 2 will get TA from Rs 1152 to Rs 4608. Employees from Level 3 to Level 8 will get traveling allowance from Rs 2304 to Rs 4608 per month. Level 9 and above employees will get allowance from Rs 4608 to Rs 9216.

Explain that traveling allowance is calculated on the basis of dearness allowance. Transport allowance also increases as dearness allowance increases.
