Demand for ITR Date Extension
The Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association (KSCAA), Advocates Tax Bar Association (ATBA) and ICAI (CIRC) have written to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, seeking extension of ITR and tax audit deadlines, citing issues with the ITR portal.
ATBA says that the last date for filing non-audit ITR should be extended to 15 October 2025. The deadline for submitting tax audit report should be extended to 30 November 2025.
