The country received the gift of four new Vande Bharat Express trains today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off four new Vande Bharat trains in Varanasi. One of these trains was flagged off by PM Modi directly from Varanasi station, while the remaining three trains were inaugurated via video conferencing. The Railway Board has released the routes and schedules for all four Vande Bharat trains. Significantly, two of these trains will originate from Uttar Pradesh. The new Vande Bharat Express trains will run between Lucknow and Saharanpur, Firozpur and Delhi, Bengaluru and Ernakulam, and Varanasi and Khajuraho.
Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat train
26422/26421 Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Train: This train will depart Varanasi at 5:25 am and reach Khajuraho at 1:10 pm via Vindhyachal, Prayagraj, Chheoki, Chitrakoot Dham, Banda, and Mahoba. The train will then depart Khajuraho at 3:20 pm and arrive in Varanasi at 11 pm. This train will operate on all days except Thursday.
Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat schedule
26504/26503 Lucknow Junction – Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express: This train will depart from Lucknow Junction at 5:00 AM and arrive in Saharanpur at 12:45 PM via Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Najibabad, and Roorkee. The return journey will begin at 3:00 PM and arrive in Lucknow Junction at 11:00 PM. This train will operate on all days except Monday.
Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat Express
26462/26461 Firozpur Cantt – Delhi Vande Bharat Express: This train departs from Firozpur Cantt at 7:55 AM and arrives in Delhi at 2:35 PM via Faridkot, Bathinda, Dhuri, Patiala, Ambala Cantt, Kurukshetra, and Panipat. The same train departs Delhi at 4 PM and arrives in Firozpur Cantt at 10:35 PM. This train will not run on Wednesdays only.
