Vande Bharat Train: Great news for passengers! Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Vande Bharat launched, know timing

Vande Bharat: The train will leave from Anand Vihar Terminal Delhi at 6.10 am and will reach Ayodhya Cantt at 2.30 pm. It will cover this distance in just eight hours and 20 minutes.


Vande Bharat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave many gifts to Ayodhya on Saturday. Of these, Vande Bharat trains launched on six routes are also included. Apart from this, PM Modi also flagged off two new Amrit Bharat trains. Among the six Vande Bharat trains, one train has been run between Ayodhya Cantt and Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi. This is expected to provide huge benefits to the pilgrims coming to Ayodhya to visit Lord Shri Ram. This train was also flagged off from Ayodhya Dham railway station. These Vande Bharat trains were first started in 2019 between New Delhi and Varanasi. Since then, almost every state has received its Vande Bharat. Now trains are being started on new routes.

Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Vande Bharat Timing

The number of this train will be 22426. This train will leave from Anand Vihar Terminal Delhi at 6.10 am and will reach Ayodhya Cantt at 2.30 pm. It will cover this distance in just eight hours and 20 minutes. According to Times of India, during this period Vande Bharat will stop at Kanpur Central and Lucknow. At the same time, this train will leave for Delhi on the same day. Its number will be 22425. This train will leave from Ayodhya Cantt at 3.20 pm and will return to Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.40 pm. During this time also the train will take eight hours and 20 minutes. Vande Bharat train will run on all six days of the week except Wednesday. Its maintenance is to be done on Wednesday. The train will start daily on this route from January 4, 2024.

Two Vande Bharat trains also available for South India

At the same time, the six Vande Bharat Express trains flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday include two trains for South India. These will run between Mangaluru and Madgaon and Coimbatore Junction-Bengaluru Cantonment. The Prime Minister inaugurated the Maharishi Valmiki Airport and the redeveloped Ayodhya Railway Station, from where he flagged off two Amrit Bharat and six Vande Bharat trains, some of which were inaugurated online. The occasion also marked the inauguration of the fourth and fifth platforms at the Central Railway Station in Mangaluru. Addressing a public meeting in Mangaluru, Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said special trains play an important role in connecting different states.

What is the route of Vande Bharat train?

He said that fulfilling the long pending demand of passengers, two new platforms have been constructed. Kateel said that with the completion of electrification of the Mangaluru-Bengaluru route, connectivity to the capital city will further improve. As per the tentative schedule, Vande Bharat Express will depart from Mangaluru Central at 8.30 am and reach Margao in Goa at 1.05 pm. This train will depart from Madgaon at 6.10 pm and reach Mangaluru Central at 10.45 pm. The train will stop at the refurbished pit line at Mangaluru Central during the night.
