Under the new change, TRAI is arranging a filter, after which fake calling and SMS will not come in the phone from May 1, 2023. After this, users will get rid of unknown calls and messages coming on the phone.
In this regard, an order has been issued by TRAI to the telecom companies. In such a situation, telecom companies are applying artificial intelligence spam filters for phone calls and messages from May 1. This filter will work to prevent fake calls and messages from reaching the user.
If we talk about the present time, then the facility of applying AI filter has been started by the telecom company Airtel. While the filter can be installed by Jio in the next few months. It is believed that the introduction of AI filters in India will start from May 1, 2023.
Call ID feature can be launched soon
Let us tell you that a rule is being made by TRAI for a long time to stop fake calls and messages. Under this, TRAI is demanding a ban on promotion calls made from 10 digit mobile numbers. Along with this, TRAI is working on introducing the Caller ID feature.
In this, the photo and name of the caller will be displayed when the phone is received. In this connection, talks are also going on with the Truecaller app of Telecom company Airtel and Jio. But telecom companies are refraining from implementing the caller ID feature regarding privacy.
