Varanasi News: Three trains going to Jammu have been cancelled after the landslide incident in Jammu last week. On the other hand, many seats in the sleeper coach of Begumpura Express were found vacant on Sunday as compared to normal days.

After the landslide incident on the pilgrimage route of Mata Vaishno Devi Dham in Jammu last week, the number of passengers in trains going there has started decreasing. Due to the railway administration, two trains going to Jammu were canceled on Sunday. At the same time, in the Begumpura Express which left from Cantt station in the afternoon, many seats of sleeper coach were seen vacant as compared to normal days. Seats are also seen vacant for traveling in this train for the next three days. Many devotees have died due to landslides happening one after another in Jammu.

After such incidents, many people are postponing their journey on their own. Due to this, seats are vacant on September 2 in the main train Begumpura Express to go to Jammu from Cantt Railway Station. Seats are vacant on the future dates as well. Usually, waiting list is visible in this train up to 15 days in advance.

Here, to get some relief from the crowd in Jammu, the railway administration has cancelled some trains. On Sunday, train number 13151 Kolkata Jammutavi Express and 12331 Himgiri Express going from Banaras to Jammu were cancelled. Along with this, Kolkata Jammutavi Express has been cancelled till September 2. On the other hand, 22317 Humsafar Express has also been cancelled on September 2.

On the other hand, Himgiri Express coming from Jammu to Varanasi has been cancelled on 31st August and 1st September. 12356 Archana Express was also cancelled on 31st August. 13152 Kolkata Express coming from Jammu has also been cancelled on 1st September.
