Noida News: District Excise Officer Subodh Kumar Srivastava informed that currently there are 155 permanent bar license holders in the district. All have been instructed not to serve liquor to those below 21 years of age.

The Excise Department has issued clear instructions that no youth or teenager below the age of 21 will be given alcohol in pubs, bars or hotels. Those who break the rules will not only be fined heavily but their license can also be cancelled.
District Excise Officer Subodh Kumar Srivastava informed that there are currently 155 permanent bar license holders in the district. All operators and managers have been instructed to pay special attention to age at their establishments. If any person below 21 years of age is found drinking or being served alcohol, immediate action will be taken against the concerned bar owner.
Complaints of uproar have increased
In fact, in recent times, there have been frequent complaints of underage youth drinking and creating ruckus late at night in pubs and bars in the district. On many occasions, incidents of serving liquor to minors and youth below 21 years of age were also found in birthday parties, marriage anniversaries and other family functions. This is not only a violation of law but is also affecting public order.
The license will be revoked
The Excise Department has said that such teenagers or young people coming with their families to pubs and bars will not be given liquor under any circumstances. If such a thing is found, not only will a financial penalty be imposed but action can be taken to cancel the license of the operator and even close the bar.
