Trai recommends: Every day, unknown and promotional calls come to the phone, which has become a big problem for mobile users, to overcome which TRAI has recommended starting Caller ID Display Service.


The path to TRAI’s recommendations to show the caller’s number is not easy. According to media reports, this is a violation of the Data Protection Act. To implement this, the government will have to make a provision for exemption in the Data Protection Law.

The provision of showing names is not easy-

  • In this service, when a call comes on your phone, the name of the caller will be displayed, whether the caller’s number is saved in your mobile or not. This service will get rid of the problem of fraud and unknown callers.
