Keeping in mind that you do not have such a problem, today we are going to tell you about an app that will save you from deducting challan and you will not have to keep license and other documents of the vehicle.

With the help of DigiLocker app

DigiLocker or Digital Locker, you can easily access virtual documents. This is a government app which has been recognized that if you save the documents of your vehicle on it, then the challan of your vehicle will not be deducted during checking. This app is very easy to use and many people are also using it.

It is a digital document wallet where you can store your documents like driving license, pan card, voter id, policy document etc. When you sign up for DigiLocker account you can upload documents and keep them safe. You get a dedicated cloud storage space which is linked to your Aadhaar number.

Using these four easy steps will help you to open Digilocker online:

Step 1: Visit the Digilocker website. You can access Digilocker at digilocker.gov.in. You can also download the application on your mobile phone from Play/App Store. In addition, you can use the Aadhaar number to create a Digital Locker account by visiting the DigiLocker website. Make sure that your current phone number is registered with Aadhaar number.

Step 2: Click on ‘Sign Up’. Enter your full name, date of birth, mobile number (registered with Aadhaar). Create a security pin and enter an email ID.

Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar number. Once you enter your unique 12-digit Aadhaar number, you will get two options – One Time Password (OTP) or Fingerprint – You can use any of the options to proceed.

Step 4: User ID Creation: Once the process is complete, the application will prompt the user to create a ‘username’ and ‘password’. Enter your desired username and password for the ‘Digital Locker’ account and click on the Sign-up button. After successful account creation, the application will show the ‘Dashboard’ screen of Digilocker.
