The company made it clear in its statement on Saturday that it is planning to make the vehicles more expensive. This increase is going to happen from 7th of this month.

Cars can be expensive by such a percentage

From November 7, 2022, the price of Tata’s passenger vehicles will be increased by 0.9 percent. This increase will vary depending on the variant and model. The company issued a statement saying that it was bearing the increased cost for some time, but due to the increase in the overall input cost, it has had to increase the prices of the vehicles slightly. Let us tell you that in the Indian auto mobile market, Tata Motors sells cars like Tiago, Tigor, Nexon, Punch, Harrier and Safari.

Tata Motors’ total sales increased in October

Let us tell you that in the last month i.e. October, there was an increase in the sales of Tata Motors. Tata Motors’ total sales were up 15.49 percent at 78,335 units in October 2022. The company sold a total of 67,829 vehicles in the same month last year. Tata Motors’ total domestic sales during the period increased by 17 per cent to 76,537 units from 65,151 units in the same month a year ago. During this period, the sales of passenger vehicles (PV), including electric vehicles (EV) in the Indian auto mobile market, increased by 33 percent to 45,423 units. It was 34,155 units in October, 2021.

The company said that including international business, EV sales stood at 4,277 units. In October last year, it was 1,660 units. At the same time, sales of commercial vehicles in the domestic market were marginally higher at 31,320 units while exports declined by 35 percent to 1,592 units. Exports stood at 2,448 units in the same month a year ago.
