Let us tell you that now in Vande Bharat you can enjoy your journey by sleeping. The government is soon going to launch such a Vande Bharat Express train on the railway tracks, which will also have the facility of sleeping in the third AC coach.
When Will Sleeper Vande Bharat Start: The Government of India is continuously increasing the number of Vande Bharat trains. Vande Bharat Express train is known for its semi high speed. It takes less time to travel by Vande Bharat Express than other normal trains. Let us tell you that soon the government is going to add sleeper coaches in Vande Bharat Express trains. Along with this, the passengers traveling in it can now enjoy their journey by sleeping. Tender has also been issued for this.
TMH-RVNL bids
Let us tell you that a company named TMH-RVNL had made the lowest bid to prepare sleeper coaches. TMH is a Russian company, while RVNL is a part of Indian Railways known as Rail Vikas Nigam Limited. During its bid, the company has promised to prepare and give sleeper coaches for 120 crores.
Rs 120 crore will be allotted to this company to make 120 rakes. Preparations for making coaches have been started in Latur, Maharashtra. If media reports are to be believed, Letter of Award (LOA) has also been issued.
Final date will be announced soon
The final date for handing over the train has not been decided by the company yet. However, it will be confirmed soon. Let us tell you that the company which has won the tender by bidding the lowest, has also deposited a guarantee bond of Rs 200 crore as security money.
Under this agreement, sleeper coaches with 1 first AC, 3 second AC and 11 third AC will be manufactured. It is worth noting that at present the Vande Bharat trains being run in the country have only seating facility available in all of them.
