State Bank of India: If you also have an account in the country’s largest government bank i.e. SBI (State Bank of India), then there is important news for you. While alerting crores of customers, State Bank said that you should never save certain numbers in your phone.

In view of the rapidly increasing cases of fraud across the country, the bank has alerted all the customers. The bank has said that you never have to save the information related to your account in your mobile.

If you have saved the card’s CVV number, ATM details or any OTP in your phone, then delete it immediately. Otherwise your bank balance may become empty at any time.

The bank also keeps on alerting the customers by sending mails and messages from time to time. With the increase in digital banking in the country, the cases of fraud are also increasing, so it is necessary for all the customers to be alert.

Customers should not take any photo of bank account number, password, pin, ATM card number and keep it in their phone. This puts your information at risk of being leaked.

Along with this, customers should not share ATM card details and PIN with anyone. By doing this your card details can also be leaked.

The bank said that from our side, sensitive information like User ID, PIN, Password, CVV, OTP, VPA (UPI) is never taken from any customer by calling or SMS from our side.

If you get any such phone call, then be careful and do not share any information with anyone.
