SBI Clerk Recruitment 2025: Vacancy Details
SBI has released the official notification for recruitment to the posts of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) i.e. Clerk. Online applications will start from 6 August 2025 and the last date has been fixed as 26 August 2025. To apply, candidates have to visit the official website sbi.co.in. Before filling the form, all the candidates are advised to read the notification carefully.
Category wise vacancy details
Under this recruitment campaign, a total of 5180 posts will be appointed in regular. Out of these, 5180 posts are regular vacancies while 403 are backlog posts. Category wise vacancies are as follows – General: 2255, OBC: 1179, SC: 788, ST: 450 and EWS: 508. Selected candidates will be appointed in SBI branches across the country. Apart from this, there will be recruitment on backlog posts. Recruitment is going to be done on a total of 6589 posts.
Qualification and Age
The candidate should have a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized university. Students studying in the final year or semester of graduation can also apply, provided they complete the degree before appointment. The age limit has been fixed from 20 to 28 years as on 1 April 2025. Age relaxation has been given to reserved categories as per rules. OBC will get 3 years, SC/ST will get 5 years and PWD will get 10 years relaxation.
The selected candidates will get a basic pay of Rs 26,730 which includes two advanced increments with Rs 24,050. Apart from this, DA (Dearness Allowance), HRA (House Rent Allowance) and other banking allowances will also be given. The experience, salary and facilities of working in SBI make it much more attractive than other banks.
