New Delhi. In the digital and online era, the cases of cyber and online fraud are increasing day by day. In such a situation, SBI has issued an alert for the customers, if you do not accept it, you are sure to be cheated online. To protect people from cyber and online frauds, the country’s largest public sector bank SBI has shared some tips from its Twitter account.

What tips did SBI give?

Through a tweet from SBI, the customers have been told that, before letting anyone inside, always first check who is present behind the door? This is the key to your safety. SBI has posted a message on Twitter that to monitor the activity of your bank account, always keep checking the messages on your mobile.

SBI wrote that do not take any action on messages coming from unknown people. SBI told its customers by post that the message has come from SBI itself, for this, you must see the short code in the message, which starts with SBI / SB.

Why is caution necessary?

At present, most of the banking related work is done online and digitally. Even in the case of money, most of the transactions are done online and digitally. In such a situation, it is important for you to be careful about every type of message, mail and call coming on your mobile.

You should never share your banking related information, especially highly confidential information such as ATM PIN, UPI PIN and Credit Card PIN, over any mail, call or message. If you share this information with anyone, then there may be money manipulation or fraud from your bank account.
