Russia-Ukraine War: Russia Used A Vacuum Bomb During Invasion, Claims Ukraine

Thermobaric weapons do not use conventional ammunition. These are filled with a high-pressure explosive. These absorb oxygen from the surrounding atmosphere to produce powerful explosions.

Russia , one of the world’s most powerful countries, is continuously increasing its attack on Ukraine ( Russia-Ukraine Crisis ). Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Ambassador Oksana Markarova has made a shocking claim. He has said that on the fifth day of the war, Russia used a banned thermobaric weapon against Ukraine .

He said that Russia used the vacuum bomb on Monday, which is banned under the Geneva Convention. Thermobaric weapons do not use conventional ammunition. These are filled with a high-pressure explosive. These absorb oxygen from the surrounding atmosphere to produce powerful explosions.

According to the report, the thermobaric bomb is counted among the deadliest nuclear weapons in the world. It was developed by Russia in 2007. When this bomb weighing 7100 kg is used, it destroys the buildings and humans on the way. It is also known as aerosol bomb. Peter Lee of Portsmouth University says that Russia used this vacuum bomb on Syria in 2016. This is a very dangerous bomb. It can explode with the power of 44 tons of TNT.

What is the specialty of vacuum bomb
Another feature of this vacuum bomb is that it absorbs oxygen and makes a big explosion. Due to such explosions, ultrasonic shockwaves come out of it and bring more destruction. Therefore it is considered more powerful than other weapons. Russia had also prepared this bomb so that it can tell the world how powerful it is and anytime any country thinks many times before attacking Russia.

The Father of All Bomb can cause damage within a radius of 300 meters. This destructive weapon is dropped from a jet and it explodes in the middle of the air. It pulls oxygen out of the air and produces an effect similar to that of a small nuclear weapon. This powerful bomb does not pose any threat to the environment, unlike nuclear weapons.

America also has a hand in making the bomb
America is the biggest hand behind preparing this dangerous bomb. The US had prepared the ‘Mother of all bomb’ in 2003, which is named GBU-43/B. It can detonate with the power of 11 tons of TNT, while the Russian bomb is capable of blasting with the power of 44 tons of TNT. In response to the bomb prepared in America, Russia prepared the ‘Father of All Bombs’.
