PNB released new FD rates 2022: Now PNB is giving highest interest on FD, know new rates here

PNB: Under the PNB 600 Days FD Scheme offer, normal customers will get 6.50 percent interest and senior citizens will get 7 percent interest on fixed deposits.


PNB 600 Days FD Scheme: The country’s largest government bank Punjab National Bank has given a great offer to the customers on the occasion of Diwali. PNB has introduced PNB 600 Days FD Scheme for the customers. Under this offer, customers of the bank will get huge returns on FDs. Under the PNB 600 Days FD Scheme, interest ranging from 6.50 percent to 7.30 percent is being given to the customers by the bank.

Senior citizens will get 7 percent interest

Under the PNB 600 Days FD Scheme offer, normal customers will get 6.50 percent interest and senior citizens will get 7 percent interest on fixed deposits. Apart from this, interest of 7.30 percent is being given by the bank to super senior citizens above the age of 80 years. Let us tell you that this offer of the bank is valid only on fixed deposits of less than 2 crores.

The interest on FDs with a tenure of 600 days in Punjab National Bank is more than the interest on FDs of any other tenor. Let us tell you that on fixed deposits from 601 days to two years, 5.70 percent for general customers, 6.20 percent for senior citizens and 6.50 percent for super senior citizens above 80 years. New rates effective from October 11
Earlier, after increasing the repo rate by the RBI, the interest rate has been increased by many banks. The interest rate has been increased on savings schemes as well as on home loans and other types of loans. HDFC Bank has also increased the rate of fixed deposits i.e. FD by .75 basis points last day. The new rates have come into effect from October 11, 2022.
