PhonePe UPI Guidelines – If you are a PhonePe user, then PhonePe has brought a great news for you, which will make it more convenient for you to use this app.
Although PhonePe still has millions of users, but after this new update, the number of PhonePe users is definitely going to increase. PhonePe was sending a new notification to its users for the last few days, through which it was telling its users that some new guidelines of UPI have come, under which PhonePe will have to share users’ numbers and UPI ID with NCPI.
The new guidelines have come into effect from November 25 –
In the notification that PhonePe sent to its users, it was written that from November 25, the new guidelines will be applicable to all users, that is, by November 25, PhonePe will share the registered mobile number and UPI ID of its users with NCPI!
PhonePe users will get this benefit –
This new update of PhonePe is going to benefit all the users of PhonePe. Now money can be sent on PhonePe from any app. That is, in simple words, as it used to be, someone has Google Pay and you have PhonePe. Now if you want to order money, then you will also have to install PhonePe and you will have to send money through PhonePe.
But after sharing the data in NCPI, now all the users are linked with UPI ID. Your number has also been linked with UPI ID. In such a situation, as soon as you enter your number on any app that runs through UPI ID, the UPI ID will appear and through that you will get money.
What is necessary to give data in NPCI –
New guidelines have been issued in NCPI, under which the mobile number of the users paying through the app will have to be linked to the UPI Id. The direct effect of which will be that now you will be able to transact money very easily, for this it will not be necessary that both have the same type of app. Anyone will be able to send money to you through your UPI number and you will also not have to keep separate apps for money transactions. Only PhonePe will do all the work.
By adding the number to the NPCI database, this facility is available –
If you want to delete your registered phone number from NPCI’s database then you can get it deleted. It may take 24 hours to delete the number from the registered database of NPCI but you may also have to bear some disadvantages of it.
As you cannot take money from any app. You both must have the same type of app. No one can send money using your mobile number.
Although the way you have been transacting money till now will still be operational, but after your number is registered in the NCPI database, all the new facilities that users will get will be deprived of those facilities. Apart from this, NCPI may bring some more new updates in future so that online transaction becomes easier. You will not be able to get those facilities.
