Petrol Diesel Price Today: The price of crude oil has increased to $66 in the global market, but the price of oil is still declining in the domestic market today. The price of petrol and diesel has become cheaper in the retail market today.
There is a big change in the prices of petrol and diesel released by government oil companies on Tuesday morning. The effect of the fall in the prices of crude oil in the global market was also seen in the domestic market today. Government oil companies have reduced the price of oil in many cities from UP to Haryana. However, there has been no impact on the prices of oil in the four metros of the country like Delhi-Mumbai.
According to government oil companies, petrol has become costlier by 6 paise in Gautam Buddha Nagar district of UP and is being sold at Rs 94.77 per liter. Diesel has also increased by 8 paise and has reached Rs 87.89 per liter. In Ghaziabad, petrol has increased by 12 paise and reached Rs 94.70 per liter, while diesel has increased by 14 paise and is being sold at Rs 87.81 per liter. In Haryana’s capital Gurugram, petrol has fallen by 8 paise to Rs 95.18 per liter, while diesel is being sold at Rs 87.65 per liter, down by 8 paise.
Talking about crude oil, its prices have increased marginally in the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude has increased to $66.02 per barrel. The rate of WTI has also declined to $62.45 per barrel.
Petrol and diesel prices in the four metros
– Petrol in Delhi is Rs 94.72 and diesel is Rs 87.62 per liter
– Petrol in Mumbai is Rs 103.44 and diesel is Rs 89.97 per liter
– Petrol in Chennai is Rs 100.76 and diesel is Rs 92.35 per liter
– Petrol in Kolkata is Rs 104.95 and diesel is Rs 91.76 per liter
Rates have changed in these cities
– In Ghaziabad, petrol has become Rs 94.70 and diesel Rs 87.81 per liter.
– In Noida, petrol has become Rs 94.77 and diesel Rs 87.89 per liter.
– In Gurugram, petrol has become Rs 95.18 and diesel Rs 87.65 per liter.
New rates are released every morning at 6 am.
The prices of petrol and diesel change every day at 6 am. The new rates come into effect from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double of the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
