Petrol Diesel Price Today: The retail prices of petrol and diesel released by government oil companies on Monday morning are showing a decline today. Oil has become expensive in some cities, but due to the cheapness of crude in the global market, most of the prices have come down.
The price of crude oil in the global market has once again fallen below $66 per barrel. Its effect was also seen on the retail prices in the domestic market. There is a big drop in the retail prices of petrol and diesel released by the government oil companies on Monday morning. Today, oil prices have fallen in many cities from UP to Bihar, but in some cities, oil has also become expensive. However, there has been no change in the price of oil in the four metros of the country like Delhi-Mumbai.
According to government oil companies, petrol has become cheaper by 34 paise and is being sold at Rs 94.71 per liter in Gautam Buddha Nagar district of UP. Diesel has also fallen by 38 paise and reached Rs 87.81 per liter. In Ghaziabad, petrol has reached Rs 94.58 per liter with a rise of 17 paise, while diesel is being sold at Rs 87.67 per liter, up by 20 paise. In Haryana’s capital Gurugram, petrol has fallen by 30 paise to Rs 95.26 per liter, while diesel is being sold at Rs 87.73 per liter, down by 29 paise.
Talking about crude oil, its prices have fallen marginally in the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude has fallen to $65.84 per barrel. The rate of WTI has also fallen to $62.18 per barrel.
Petrol and diesel prices in the four metros
– Petrol in Delhi is Rs 94.72 and diesel is Rs 87.62 per liter
– Petrol in Mumbai is Rs 103.44 and diesel is Rs 89.97 per liter
– Petrol in Chennai is Rs 100.76 and diesel is Rs 92.35 per liter
– Petrol in Kolkata is Rs 104.95 and diesel is Rs 91.76 per liter
Rates have changed in these cities
– In Ghaziabad, petrol has become Rs 94.58 and diesel Rs 87.67 per liter.
– In Noida, petrol has become Rs 94.71 and diesel Rs 87.81 per liter.
– In Gurugram, petrol has become Rs 95.26 and diesel Rs 87.73 per liter.
New rates are released every morning at 6 am.
The prices of petrol and diesel change every day at 6 am. The new rates come into effect from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double of the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
