New Delhi: Pension News: There is important news for pensioners. Actually, from October 1, 2021, the new rule of pension is going to be implemented. It will be very important for pensioners to follow this rule. Now Digital Life Certificate can be deposited in Jeevan Pramaan Center ie JPC of all Head Post Offices of the country.
Such pensioners whose age is 80 years or more, they can submit life certificate from 1 October to 30 November 2021. Pensioners below 80 years will be able to submit life certificate from November 1 to November 30. Let us know its complete process.
India Post is providing service
Let us tell you that now life certificate is being deposited in the post office. The Indian Postal Department has urged all the pensioners that if the ID of Jeevan Pramaan Center is closed, then activate it on time. An order has been issued by the government to set up this center immediately in the head post offices which do not have Jeevan Praman centres. According to the government, the ID will have to be activated after creating the Jeevan Pramaan Center. The same work has to be done for the Common Service Center in the post office as well. Its last date has been set as September 20, 2021.

India Post gave information in a tweet and said, ‘Senior citizens can now easily avail Jeevan Pramaan services at the nearest post office CSC counter.’ According to the official website of Jeevan Pramaan – jeevanpramaan.gov.in, ‘In order to obtain this Jeevan Pramaan, the person receiving the pension has to either personally visit the pension disbursing agency or obtain a life certificate issued by the authority. Where they have served earlier and handed it over to the disbursing agency.

According to the official website of the department, Digital Life Certificate for Pensioners Scheme of Government of India seeks to solve this problem by digitizing the entire process of obtaining life certificate. For the application, you can first get the update of the nearest Jeevan Praman Kendra by sending an SMS from your mobile number to 7738299899. The text for SMS will be ‘JPL<PIN Code>’. Pensioners will get a list of nearby Jeevan Pramaan centers from the given pin code. After getting this list, you can choose your nearest center. You can get your digital life certificate by going there.
