Haryana Budget
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar (CM Manohar Lal Khattar) presented the state budget for the financial year 2023-24 in the assembly on Thursday. During this, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that no new tax will be imposed on the people of the state. Khattar also holds the charge of the state’s finance ministry. He has presented a budget of Rs 1,83,950 crore for the coming financial year, which is 11.6 percent more than the revised estimate of Rs 1,64,808 crore.
No new tax
This was the fourth budget of the second term of BJP and JJP government. Presenting the budget, Chief Minister Khattar said in the assembly that there is no proposal to impose new tax in the budget. Along with this, CM Khattar also made an important announcement regarding the pension scheme. The benefit of which is going to be given to many people.
Social Security Pension
In the budget, the Chief Minister announced to increase the social security pension from the existing Rs. 2500 per month to Rs. 2750 per month. Along with this, it was also proposed to increase the fund for the Haryana Cow Protection Service Commission from the existing Rs. 40 crore to Rs. 400 crore. He announced to fill up at least 65,000 regular posts in 2023-24.
