According to IMD, a new Western Disturbance is about to knock, due to which the weather of the hilly states will change. Due to Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorm in Jammu and Kashmir on 25 and 26 February, in Himachal Pradesh on 26 February. According to the Skymet Weather report, a Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayas from February 25. Dense fog may occur in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan today.
Day and night temperatures will be much above normal in the northwestern and central parts of the country. On the other hand, moderate to heavy rain and snowfall is possible in Arunachal Pradesh. There may be light rain and snowfall in Sikkim. Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, there was light to moderate rain and snow in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh. Light rain and snow occurred in Jammu and Kashmir.
