Employees are demanding old pension
Employee unions have been continuously demanding regarding the old pension scheme. They count the benefits that the employees get in the old pension. Employees say that they get less benefits under the new pension scheme, while governments count the benefits of the new pension scheme.

There is a difference on the salary front
In such a situation, know what is the difference between the new pension scheme and the old pension scheme, due to which there is so much debate on it. At present, after the deduction under NPS, there will be a huge difference between the salary coming in the hands of the employees and the salary coming after the implementation of the old pension scheme. State governments cut the old pension according to the slab of the employees. It can be more than NPS.

Deduction under NPS
Actually pension fund is deducted under NPS. 10 percent amount is added from the basic and dearness allowance (DA) of the employee. The government deposits the amount in the NPS account at the rate of 14 percent. In this way, the total deposit amount of the employee, including basic and DA, becomes 24 percent. In this, the employee deposits 10 percent, while the employer deposits 14 percent.

Understand from this example
If you understand this according to statistics, then if an employee’s basic and DA together make Rs 1 lakh, then there will be a deduction of 10 percent in NPS from his account ie Rs 10 thousand and he will get a salary of Rs 90 thousand. At the same time, 14 percent of the employee’s basic and DA ie 14 thousand rupees will be deposited in his fund by the government.
