Most Expensive Manohari Gold Tea: Assam’s rare attractive gold specialty tea auctioned for 75 thousand, know its specialty

The Guwahati Tea Auction Center (GTAC) on Thursday sold a special tea called Manohar Gold Tea at a price of Rs 75,000 per kg. In Assam this year, the highest price of gold gold auction has been done at auction. With this, Manohari Gold Tea equaled the record price at which tea has been sold in the state so far. Tea was sold twice in the state at a record price of Rs 75,000 per kg. On August 13 last year, Upper Assam’s Dikom Tea Estate sold its Golden Butterfly Tea at Guwahati Tea Auction Buyers Association (GTAC) for Rs 75,000 per kg. Later a special tea manufactured by Doni Polo Tea Estate in East Siang, Arunachal Pradesh was sold at the same price in GTAC last year.




Vishnu Tea Company has bought this special tea. Now this company will sell Manohari Gold Tea through its e-commerce website. Dinesh Bihani said, ‘This is an important achievement amidst the corona virus epidemic. Manohari Tea State had made special arrangements for the production of this tea.

Assam’s specialty tea is famous all over the world for its special taste. The taste, aroma and color of this tea is very attractive. Apart from this, Orthodox Golden Tea Tips were sold at Rs 70,501 per kg and prior to this Manohar Gold Tea was auctioned at Rs 50,000 per kg in GTAC last year. This year, Manohari Gold Tea has received very good prices in the auction.

“This is a major achievement in the midst of an epidemic that has affected the whole world. Manohar Tea Estate has made additional efforts to produce this particular tea in the month of September and sent it to GTAC for sale, ”said the GTABA secretary. GTAC is emerging as a hub for showcasing high-value specialty teas, he said, adding that the tea is judged by its aroma, taste and color.
