How to port numbers sitting at home

Select the text SMS option of your phone and type n new SMS. Write PORT in SMS, then write this number by giving a space which you want to port and then send this message to 1900. As soon as you send this message, you will get an SMS from 1901. This SMS will have an 8-digit unique code called Porting Code or UPC. This code of two English alphabets and six numbers is valid only for a few days.


With this code, go to the nearest outlet or store of the telecom company of your choice. There fill a form for MNC and you will get the SIM of that company. Let us tell you that some telecom companies also provide this facility at home, that is, your SIM is delivered to your home.
