Today, a gas cylinder became costlier by Rs 25 in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. The price of cylinder available for Rs 865 has gone up to Rs 890.50 per cylinder.
Prices were high on July 1 and August 17, even
before the Corona period, inflation broke the back of the public, but after the arrival of Corona, the problems of the public increased even more. Before 2 September, the prices of gas cylinders were increased on 1 July and 17 August. In most of the districts of the state where the price of gas cylinder has crossed Rs 900, the prices have reached the historical level of inflation. At present, cylinders are being sold in Bhopal at Rs 890.50, while in Gwalior and Morena districts, gas cylinders are being sold at the most expensive prices.
Political ruckus also started
As soon as the price of LPG increased, there was a ruckus in the politics of the state. Congress MLA Kunal Chaudhary demanded to convene a special session of the assembly. He said that he would write a letter to the Speaker of the Assembly, Girish Gautam. The Congress MLA said that the general public is troubled by inflation, people ask questions to them when they go to the assembly constituency. To give relief to the public from inflation, it is necessary that there should be a session of the Legislative Assembly and there should be discussion on inflation continuously for 4 to 5 days. He said that inflation was a witch for the BJP in the Congress government, which is now starting to feel darling in the BJP government.
Most expensive cylinder in Gwalior-Morena
The prices of gas cylinders in Bhopal have not yet crossed the Rs 900 mark. At the same time, gas cylinder is being sold the most expensive in 13 districts of the state, while in some districts the prices have crossed Rs 950. In Gwalior and Morena districts, cylinders are being sold at a historical rate of Rs 968.50. At the same time, in other districts of Chambal, the prices have reached the same level.
