Maruti Suzuki has announced new prices for its vehicles following the reduction in GST. The company has said that it will pass on the full benefit of the GST reduction to its customers.
The new GST rates are going to be implemented from September 22. Mahindra & Mahindra, Hyundai, and Tata Motors have already announced new prices for their vehicles. Customers were waiting for the announcement of new prices from Maruti. This wait ended on September 18.
The starting price of the S-Presso is just Rs 3,49,900.
Maruti Suzuki has announced new prices for all its vehicles, both large and small. Following this, the prices of many models have become quite attractive. The ex-showroom price of the S-Presso has been reduced by up to ₹129,600. The starting price of this model now stands at ₹349,900. This is the company’s most affordable model and is in strong demand in smaller cities.
WagonR prices slashed by up to Rs 79,600
The company has reduced the price of the WagonR by up to ₹79,600. Its ex-showroom price now starts at ₹498,900. It is one of Maruti’s best-selling cars, enjoying strong demand in both large and small cities. The price reduction could boost sales of this model.
Swift starts at Rs 5,78,900, ex-showroom
The Swift is also one of Maruti’s most popular models. The company has reduced its price by up to ₹84,600, bringing its starting price down to ₹578,900, ex-showroom. The Ignis has also seen a price reduction of up to ₹71,300, bringing its starting price to ₹535,100, ex-showroom.
Baleno becomes cheaper by up to Rs 86,000
The country’s largest automaker has reduced the price of the Baleno by up to ₹86,100, bringing its starting price down to ₹598,900, ex-showroom. The Franchise has also seen a price reduction of up to ₹112,600, bringing its starting price down to ₹684,900, ex-showroom.

There will be a jump in vehicle sales from September 22
Sanjeev Grover, Maruti Suzuki’s executive officer and company secretary, confirmed the company’s decision to reduce vehicle prices. Experts say that sales for Maruti and other auto companies are expected to rebound starting September 22nd.
The final price will increase after road tax and insurance.
On one hand, the reduction in GST has significantly reduced vehicle prices, and on the other hand, the festive season is about to begin. However, customers should keep in mind that on-road vehicle prices will be higher than ex-showroom prices. This will include significant charges like insurance and RTO.
