The survey, titled ‘People at Work 2022: A Global Workforce View’, was conducted among nearly 33,000 employees across 17 countries. The Indian employees involved in this survey also expressed their opinion.


new Delhi. In the last few years in the country and the world, the number of employed people has increased rapidly. In the era of technology, the facilities available to the employees in the office have also increased, but many things have come to the fore in a survey regarding the issues related to work during the job. In this survey, a large number of employees have demanded more flexibility in their working time. Surprisingly, for this, these employees are also ready to compromise on salary.

Indian employed people also participated in this survey of ADP Research Institute. The survey, titled ‘People at Work 2022: A Global Workforce View’, was conducted among nearly 33,000 employees across 17 countries. During this, questions were asked to these people regarding working hours. During this, more than 7 out of 10 employees have demanded more flexibility in their working hours.

Indian employed people asked for this facility
It was told in the report that 76.07 percent of the employees in India would like to have control over their working hours. Employees say that they are ready to cut salary for the convenience of working from home along with ‘remote’ office.

Will look for a new job if called to the office
When it comes to mental health at work, 56% of employees say that they get full support from their managers even while working from home. As per the report, around 76.38 per cent employees in India say that if they are asked to return to work completely, they would look for a new job.

Rahul Goyal, Managing Director, South-East Asia and India, ADP, said, “There is a need to consider new alternative options to replace the traditional 9 to 5 job to keep employees satisfied at work in the current times.”
