Reliance Jio is providing the benefit of unlimited 5G data and high-speed internet to those users who have a 5G smartphone and in whose area the company’s 5G services are available. First of all, check whether Jio’s 5G services have been rolled out in your area or not. You can check this in MyJio app or by visiting Jio’s website. Despite this, if you do not get 5G speed, you will have to try a trick.
Change your phone’s network settings
If you have a 5G smartphone then it is important to have the correct network settings enabled in it. After opening your phone’s settings, you will have to go to Network Settings. After this, after tapping on Preferred Network Type, you have to select 5G Only. After doing this your device will use 5G network. However, still not getting 5G speed means that you have recharged with a plan priced below Rs 239.
Both Jio and Airtel are offering the benefit of unlimited 5G data and speed to those users in whose area the company’s 5G services are available and who have recharged with a plan priced at Rs 239 or more. If you are a Jio user and the price of your active plan is less than Rs 239, then you can avail the benefit of 5G upgrade by paying only Rs 61.
Jio’s cheap 5G upgrade plan
Reliance Jio is also providing the benefit of 5G speed to those users who have recharged with an active plan priced below Rs 239. These users will have to recharge with the 5G upgrade plan of Rs 61. The validity of this plan is the same as the active plan and it offers 6GB additional data benefits. With this, Jio plans of Rs 119, Rs 149, Rs 179, Rs 199 and Rs 209 can be upgraded to 5G.
