Indian Railways route and timetable changed: big news! Railway has changed the route and timetable of all these important trains of these states, check list

Indian Railways: Non-interlocking work is being done on Sonpur division of East Central Railway zone. Due to non-interlocking work, services of about two dozen trains being operated by Northern Railway will be affected.


Due to this, the services of trains operating especially between the states of New Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Gujarat, Assam etc. will be affected. Due to these works being done by NCR, it has been decided to run the route diversion, rescheduling, stopping in the route of trains.

New Delhi. Non-interlocking work is being done on Sonpur division of East Central Railway zone of Indian Railways. Due to non-interlocking work , services of about two dozen trains being operated by Northern Railway will be affected . Due to this, the services of trains operating especially between the states of New Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Gujarat, Assam etc. will be affected.

Due to these works being done by East Central Railway , it has been decided to run route diversion , rescheduling, stopping in the route of trains. The passengers traveling by these trains should get the information about the running status from the concerned inquiry number before starting the journey so that they do not face any kind of trouble. Due to non-interlocking work, these trains will be temporarily affected as follows:-

Divert train routes

  • 12554 New Delhi-Saharsa Vaishali Express, which will start its journey on 18, 20, 22, 24 and 28.04.2022, will be diverted via Hajipur-Shahpur Patori-Bachwara.
  • 15231 Barauni Gondia Express, which will start its journey on 28.04.2022, will be diverted via Bachwara-Shahpur Patori-Hajipur.

Trains rescheduled

  • 14673 Jayanagar-Amritsar Shaheed Express scheduled to start journey on 18, 20, 27 & 28.04.2022 will run late by 03.30 minutes from its scheduled time.
  • 15231 Barauni-Gondia Express, scheduled to start journey on 18, 20, 22, 26 & 29.04.2022, will run late by 03.30 minutes from its scheduled time.
  • 15231 Barauni Gondia Express starting its journey on 24.04.2022 will run late by 04.00 hours from its scheduled time.
  • 14649 Jayanagar-Amritsar Saryu Yamuna Express scheduled to start journey on 18,26 and 29.04.2022 will run late by 3.30 minutes from its scheduled time.
  • 14649 Jaynagar – Amritsar Saryu Yamuna Express which will start journey on 24.04.2022 will run late by 04.30 minutes from its scheduled time.

Stop trains

  • 04652 Amritsar-Jayanagar Special Express, which is commencing journey on 20,22 and 24.04.2022, will be halted for 100 minutes enroute.
  • 04652 Amritsar-Jayanagar Special Express, which is commencing journey on 27.04.2022, will be halted for 40 minutes en route.
  • 12554 New Delhi-Saharsa Vaishali Express, which is commencing from 25.04.2022 to 27.04.2022, will be stopped enroute for 30 minutes.
  • 12554 New Delhi Saharsa Vaishali Express, which will start its journey on 23.04.2022, will be halted for 150 minutes en route.
  • 12562 New Delhi-Jayanagar Swatantrata Senani Express, which will start its journey on 23.04.2022, will be stopped enroute for 135 minutes.
  • 12562 New Delhi-Jayanagar Swatantrata Senani Express, which will start its journey on 20, 22, 24 and 28.04.2022, will be stopped enroute for 80 minutes.
  • 12562 New Delhi-Jayanagar Swatantrata Senani Express, commencing from 25.04.2022 to 27.04.2022, will be stopped enroute for 20 minutes.
  • 15708 Amritsar-Katihar Express, which will start its journey on 17.04.2022 and 19.04.2022, will be halted for 30 minutes enroute.
  • 15708 Amritsar-Katihar Express, which will start its journey on 22.04.2022 and 28.04.2022, will be halted for 110 minutes enroute.
  • 15708 Amritsar-Katihar Express, starting from 23, 25.04.2022 to 27.04.2022, will be diverted for 50 minutes enroute.
  • 15708 Amritsar-Katihar Express, which will start its journey on 24.04.2022, will be halted for 170 minutes en-route.
  • 15903 Dibrugarh-Chandigarh Express commencing journey on 25.04.2022 will be halted for 120 minutes enroute.
  • 19165 Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Express, which is commencing journey on 27.04.2022, will be halted for 20 minutes en route.
  • 19616 Kamakhya-Udaipur Express commencing journey on 21.04.2022 and 28.04.2022 will be diverted for 120 minutes enroute.
