Indian Railways: Good News! Railways will run special trains on these routes for Diwali and Chhath Puja, see list here

IRCTC Special Trains Route After Diwali, the Railways will run special trains to give relief to the passengers going towards Bihar and Purvanchal on Chhath Puja. At the same time, the regular express trains running from Lucknow will also have additional bogies. Railways has started preparations for Chhath festival.





Correspondent. Railway will run special trains to give relief to the passengers going towards Bihar and Purvanchal on Diwali and Chhath Puja. At the same time, the regular express trains running from Lucknow will also have additional bogies. Railways has started preparations for Chhath festival. After Diwali, Chhath festival will start from 6th November with Nahay Khay. Apart from Lucknow to Gorakhpur, Ballia and Deoria, the waiting list has increased in trains going to many cities including Siwan, Darbhanga in Bihar.

In such a situation, the Railways has intensified the preparation of additional bogies in many trains including Krishak Express, Gorakhpur Intercity, Utsarg and Mathura Chhapra Express. The North Eastern Railway, Lucknow Divisional Administration has given instructions to make arrangements for additional coaches of Sleeper, AC and Second Seating Classes. Along with this, his officers have been deployed in the commercial control room. From where these officers will monitor the waiting list status of each train. Additional bogies will be installed in trains only on their demand.





This special trains of Bihar will run: Train 01660 Festival Special will run between New Delhi to Barauni. This train will leave New Delhi at 7:25 pm on every Tuesday and Friday from 12 October to 19 November and reach Lucknow at 3:30 pm and reach Barauni at 4 pm. Wherein Train 01659 Special will leave Lucknow at 08:05 AM and reach New Delhi at 4:40 PM on every Wednesday and Saturday from 13 October to 20 November. The train will have nine sleeper coaches and nine second-seating class coaches.


 

Similarly, Train 01662 Anand Vihar Terminus – Saharsa Special will leave Anand Vihar at 11:10 am on every Monday and Thursday from 11 October to 18 November and reach Lucknow at 6:30 pm and reach Saharsa at 11:30 am the next day. In return direction Train 01661 Saharsa – Anand Vihar Terminus Special will leave Saharsa at 2:30 PM on every Tuesday and Friday from 12 October to 19 November, the next day at 6:10 AM via Lucknow Anand Vihar Terminus 1: Noon.
