Indian Railways: Gonda Jn. Yard remodeling work is being done at the station. For this, a block is being taken for pre-non-interlocking and non-interlocking work. Due to this, 41 trains have been canceled for 7 June.
These trains operate between particular cities of the states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu, Gujarat, Maharashtra and West Bengal etc. These include Express, Humsafar Express trains besides many unreserved special trains.
New Delhi. Gonda Junction on behalf of North Eastern Railway. Yard remodeling work is being done at the station. For this, a block is being taken for pre-non-interlocking and non-interlocking work. Due to this, 41 trains have been canceled for 7 June. These trains operate between particular cities of the states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu, Gujarat, Maharashtra and West Bengal etc. Apart from these Express, Humsafar Express trains, there are many unreserved special trains which are included in short distance trains.
According to North Eastern Railway spokesperson Pankaj Kumar Singh, Gonda Jn. Due to the yard remodeling work being done at the station (Gonda Junction Station), these trains are being canceled. The work of non-interlock under yard remodeling will be completed by June 08, 2022.
On completion of this, the operation of trains will be completely restored soon. And trains coming from Bahraich side will have direct connectivity with Lucknow, Gorakhpur and other metros. Gonda Jn. due to block taken for non-interlock work on June 07, 2022. Along with 17 pairs of trains running to/through, the movement of 07 other trains will remain cancelled.
