Patna. Recently, many changes have been made in the time table and route of trains. Proposals have been given to change the routes and timings of many. In this sequence, the route of Rajdhani Express, a premium train number 12309-12310, running from Patna’s Rajendra Nagar to New Delhi and New Delhi to Rajendra Nagar can be changed.

But, this will not change much in the time of reaching New Delhi or Patna. According to the information received, there may be a slight difference in the time of opening and arrival of this train from Rajendra Nagar in the prepared proposal. According to the prepared proposal, this train can go from Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Junction to Varanasi and then from there to Prayagraj Junction. However, there is no official confirmation about running this train from the changed route yet.

Based on the information released from the Rail Tracker website, according to media reports, train number 12309/12310 Rajendra Nagar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express will soon be run via DDU-Varanasi-Prayag Raj. Let us inform that earlier this train used to go directly from DDU to Prayagraj Junction. Even now it has the same route. But, according to the new proposal, now it will reach Prayagraj via Janghai, Phaphamau via Varanasi via DDU. This may take an additional time of about one and a half to two hours.

According to the information received, the new time table between DDU and Prayagraj will also be announced soon. According to the new time table, Rajdhani Express will reach DDU Junction at 8:35 pm and will leave at 8:45 pm. It will reach Varanasi at 9:35 and leave at 9:45. This train will reach Prayagraj at 12.08. As before, it will reach New Delhi on the second day at 7.40 am. It will leave from New Delhi at 5:10 pm and reach Prayagraj at 12:20 pm. Will reach Varanasi at 2.30 pm and DDU at 3.30 pm.

According to Rajesh Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, Patna, nothing has been told in this regard to East Central Railway Headquarters so far. No official has been informed about this. For this reason, no notification or new time table has been issued by East Central Railway Management.

Meanwhile, information has also come to the fore that recently in the meeting of the Mandal Parliamentary Committee held at Mahendru Ghat auditorium in Patna, six other MPs including MP Vashisht Narayan Singh opposed the running of Rajdhani Express via Varanasi. Instead, there was a demand for the operation of a new train on the lines of Rajdhani.
