Indian Railway Rule: Big News! Railways extended this important rule for 6 months, know otherwise, you will be fined

Railway Rules For Mask: Indian Railways has once again increased the rules of Corona. This Covid guideline of the Railways was supposed to end on October 16, but before that it has been extended. 





New Delhi. Corona cases are definitely decreasing in the country, but experts believe that it is necessary to follow the Covid protocol right now. In view of this, Indian Railways has decided to increase the Covid protocol. It will be mandatory to wear masks on railway platforms and trains for the next 6 months. If anyone violates this rule, action will be taken against him.

Actually, in the month of April this year, the Railways made it mandatory to wear masks at railway stations and during travel. A notification was issued for this. These guidelines were issued from April 17 to October 16. According to the guidelines, there was a provision to impose a fine of up to Rs 500 for not wearing a mask.

Covid guideline extended by 6 months





These Covid guidelines of the Railways were to end on October 16, but before that it has been extended. Now the requirement of masks has been extended till 16 April 2022. Railway has issued its notification. Railways says that cases of corona are still coming in the country, keeping this in mind, this decision has been taken.

Fine for spitting in railway premises

Compulsory use of masks and fines will now be listed under the Indian Railways (Punishment for Activities Affecting Cleanliness in Railway Premises) Rules, 2012, which also provides for fines for those spitting in railway premises. If you spit here and there or spread dirt inside the railway station or train, even then you can be fined up to Rs 500. Although, this time there is no mention of spitting or spreading dirt in the notification, but in the law under which masks have been made mandatory, spitting and spreading dirt also attracts a fine of Rs 500.



19% increase in corona cases in one day

According to the data of the Ministry of Health, 22431 new cases of corona have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. During this 318 people died due to Corona. These cases are 19% more than the cases reported on Wednesday. On Wednesday, 18833 corona cases had come from across the country.
