The fifth and deciding Test of the series against India and England to be played at the Old Trafford ground in Manchester has been canceled due to Corona virus. In terms of the outcome of the series, all eyes were on this match. After the cancellation of the fifth Test, fans on social media have fiercely classed Team India’s head coach Ravi Shastri and condemned him fiercely. Actually, before the Oval Test match, Shastri and captain Virat Kohli had reached a booked event, where a large number of people were also present.

According to reports, head coach Shastri and captain Kohli did not even take permission from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to attend the event. Fans on social media are blaming coach Shastri for the corona virus that reached Team India’s dressing room. According to the fans, the BCCI should take a dig at the coach and the captain on this issue. Let us tell you that Corona’s entry into the Indian team happened before the fourth Test match, when Ravi Shastri was found to be Kovid positive and other coaches had to be quarantined along with him. After this, on Thursday evening, Team India’s junior physio Yogesh Parmar also came under the grip of this virus, after which there was a stir in the Indian camp.

The BCCI, however, has said that the fifth Test match will be rescheduled and a window will be explored for it. After the cancellation of the Test match, the BCCI issued a statement saying, “In view of the strong relationship between the BCCI and the ECB, the BCCI has made an offer to the ECB to reschedule the canceled Test match.” Both the boards will look for a window to organize this Test match. This match is now expected to be held on the next tour of England. Next year, India will tour England to play a limited overs series.
