The UMANG app was launched by the Narendra Modi government in 2017 for various types of government services. This app is available for both Android and iOS platforms. Umang app is available in 13 languages.
At present, there is a separate app for each task. To install so many apps on the phone, more space is needed. Also, using them can be inconvenient. But if you get about a dozen government functions done with a single app, then this problem can be solved to a great extent. If you want to take advantage of about a dozen government schemes including Aadhaar, PAN from a single app, then for this the Umang app will have to be installed in the phone. After this you do not need to go to different websites to do work related to EPFO, PAN or any other government schemes.

How to Register on Umang App
- First of all download the Umang app on the phone from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- After this open the Umang app. Then some details have to be entered to register.
- For this you have to verify your mobile number. On entering the mobile number, an OTP will be sent to your mobile number, which will have to be entered on the UMANG app.
- After this you have to set m-PIN. In this way your registration will be completed.
- Then the home page of Umang app will open. You can shortlist the service as per your requirement here.
