Under this, the pension and family pension of government doctors who retired from government service before June 2009 will be changed as per the mandate dated August 9, 2019. Due to which these doctors will be of great benefit.
According to the mandate issued by Additional Chief Secretary Finance, re-determination of pension of doctors retired before 24 June 2009 from 1 January 2016 Will be done. This order was issued by the High Court on September 2, 2021 and September 17, 2021, in compliance of which this mandate has been issued. Also, after the order, now the order issued on 16 July 2020 and 4 September 2020 has been postponed. That is, after the mandate, only the mandate of August 9, 2019, will be effective.
Let us inform that earlier, pension was paid to doctors only under the new rule of pension applicable from 2020. But after this mandate, there will be a change in the pension of government doctors. As before, i.e. under the order dated August 9, 2019, the rescheduling of pension will be done as on January 1, 2016.
