Biagio Di Mauro of the National Research Council of Italy has described an ankylonema as the reason for changing the color of ice. This is called Nordenciköldi (Ancylonema Nordenskioeldii). Due to this alky, it happens in the autumn and summer season. But due to these, the dark zone that is formed is dangerous. The ice starts melting rapidly due to the formation of the Dark Zone.
In such a situation, after melting the snow, these algae will start spreading on the mountains after getting sunlight. Due to this the food chain and environmental cycle of the mountains will start to deteriorate. If the algae continues to spread in this way, by the year 2100 two thirds of the snow will melt from the mountains of the Italian Alps.
According to a research, white ice sends 80 percent of the sun’s radiation back to the atmosphere, but if the ice is melted due to the algae, this radiation will cause many adverse effects on the earth.
Italian alpus has the highest snow pink at a place named Passo Gavia. The height of this place is 8590 feet. If the snow melts rapidly from here, the houses at the bottom of this mountain will be washed away. Prior to Italian, the snow in the Antarctica hills had turned white to green. European Space Agency’s Sentinel-2 satellite has been taking pictures of Antarctica for two years. After examining them, scientists from Cambridge University and the British Antarctic Survey have prepared this green map spreading across Antarctica for the first time. After seeing this, it seems that in a few years, there will be green snow all over Antarctica.
