The Jharkhand government has given orders to make green ration cards of the missing needy. For this, camps will be held from 9 to 12 November. For setting up camps, the panchayats have been asked to campaign through loudspeakers, but the order is not being followed. Bokaro Deputy Commissioner has sent a letter to all the BDOs of the district and directed them to follow the order.
What is the order
The Deputy Commissioner has ordered to organize camps in each of the panchayats from November 9 to 12 to make green ration cards for the needy beneficiaries. At the same time, the state government has fixed the deadline for making this card till November 15.
The Deputy Commissioner has sent a letter to all the BDOs and instructed them to organize camps for making green ration cards. On the orders of the Deputy Commissioner, the BDO has directed all the Principal Executive Committees, Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Secretaries and all the Public Distribution System vendors of the block to make green ration cards to the needy beneficiaries under the Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme.
Target is not being met
Under the Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme, the government has been giving instructions repeatedly to make green ration cards to the needy families, but according to the target, this card could not be made for the needy beneficiaries.
On November 2, the Departmental Secretary directed that the needy families whose green ration cards have not been made, should make this card by November 15. In the light of that instruction, instructions have been given to complete the target by organizing camps in each of the gram panchayats.
To fulfill the target, all the headmen and panchayat secretaries of the block will organize camps in their respective panchayats. In order to get green card made through loudspeakers, the needy beneficiaries will be made aware, will receive the application form and will get the applications received online through the Pragya Kendras operated in their respective gram panchayats.
