Good news for SBI Pensioners! You will now be able to submit life certificate sitting at home; know whole process

The last date for submission of Life Certificate (Jevaan Praman Patra) is near. In such a situation, if you have not submitted the life certificate yet, then you do not have to worry. State Bank of India is giving special facility to its customers. SBI customers will now be able to submit life certificate from the comfort of their homes through video call.



Regarding this facility, Dinesh Khara, Chairman, State Bank of India says, “We are confident that this facility will make pensioners aware of digital facilities. In this era of Kovid-19, he will be able to submit life certificate easily sitting at home without visiting the branch.

This whole process- 

  • First of all you have to visit https://www.pensionseva.sbi/.
  • After this you have to click on ‘Video LC’.
  • In the third step, you have to enter the SBI Pension Account Number.
  • After this an OTP will come on your registered mobile number.
  • Read all the terms and conditions carefully and then click on ‘Start Journey’.
  • After this, keep your PAN card with you and click on ‘I am ready’.


  • After that give permission to start video call.
  • Your video call will start on the availability of SBI official. Apart from this, you can also choose the time according to your convenience.
  • Once the video call starts, the officer will ask you to read the four digit number displayed on your screen.
  • You will have to show the PAN card so that the authorities can take its photo.
  • After this a picture of you will also be taken. After which your process will be completed.
