Gold Price Today: Big news! Big jump in the price of Gold & Silver Price, check today’s latest price

Gold Price Today: According to IBJA rates, the average price of gold and silver has increased in all the cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Jaipur, Indore Patna. Today gold opened at Rs 62678.


Gold Silver Price 30 January 2024: Gold and silver prices are soaring during the wedding season. According to the new rate of IBJA, 24 carat gold became costlier by Rs 163 today and opened at Rs 62678 per 10 grams. Whereas, silver prices have registered an increase of Rs 424 per kg. According to IBJA rates, the average price of gold and silver has increased in all the cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Jaipur, Indore and Patna. Today the spot price of silver in the bullion market opened at Rs 71795 per kg. Now gold is cheaper by only Rs 1127 from its all time high of Rs 63805 on December 4, 2023.

Why the price is rising: The price of gold is rising due to the expectation of rate cut in the upcoming US Fed meeting to be held from 30 to 31 January 2024. Gold prices on MCX opened at ₹62,080 per 10 grams in the early morning session and touched a high of ₹62,295 per 10 grams within minutes of the commodity market opening. The spot price of gold in the international market is hovering around the level of $ 2,030 per ounce.

Rates of 14 to 23 carat gold

On Tuesday i.e. today, the price of 23 carat gold has now increased by Rs 162 to reach the rate of Rs 62427 per 10 grams. Whereas, 22 carat gold has now become costlier by Rs 149 and reached Rs 57413 per 10 grams. There is an increase of Rs 123 in the rate of 18 carat gold and it has reached Rs 47009 per 10 grams. Whereas, the rate of 14 carat gold has reached Rs 36667.

These rates of gold and silver have been issued by India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA). GST and jewelery making charges are not applicable on this rate. It is possible that gold and silver may be costlier by Rs 1000 to 2000 in your city.
