Employee Salary – In hand salary of employees will be less, these rules are going to be implemented

Important news for employees. In fact, the government’s preparation to implement the new Labor Code in the country is in full swing. According to a report, it is being said that now the in-hand salary of the employees will be less as compared to earlier.


Companies may have to change their working strategy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had recently said that flexible work places and flexible working hours are the needs of the future.

These are the four new labor codes-

The central government wants all the states to implement the new labor code simultaneously. This concept is being brought for the balance between the personal life and work of the people. The four new codes are related to the new Labor Code, Wage, Social Security, Industrial Relations and Occupational Safety.

Discussion on 3 days leave-

The most discussed change after the implementation of the new labor code is the three-day weekly off. In the new labor code, there is a provision of three holidays and four working days. However, the working hours will increase. After the implementation of the new labor code, you will have to work for 12 hours in the office. In total, you will have to work for 48 hours in a week. After this you will get three days weekly off.

There will be a big change regarding the holidays-

Apart from this, there will be a big change regarding the holidays as well. Earlier it was necessary to work for at least 240 days in a year to take long leave in any organization. But under the new labor code, it was necessary to work for 180 days. But under the new labor code, you will be able to take long leave after working for 180 days (6 months).

In hand salary will come down

After the implementation of the new wage code, take home salary i.e. in hand salary will be less in your account than before. The government has made a provision in the new rule that the basic salary of any employee should be 50 percent or more of his total salary (CTC).

If your basic salary is more, then PF contribution will increase. With this provision of the government, the employees will get a hefty amount at the time of retirement. Also, you will get more gratuity money. This will make their future financially strong.

Equal pay for men and women

Union Labor Minister Bhupendra Yadav had recently said that we have rationalized the old laws and taken into consideration the Occupational Safety and Wage Standards to ensure fair wages for both men and women. He said that 29 different Acts have been converted into four new labor codes.
