DA Hike: This week the employees will be paid the increased dearness allowance

The dearness allowance of more than seven and a half lakh officers and employees of Madhya Pradesh was increased by four percent. But people would have received the benefit of the increased four percent dearness allowance in March. But now they don’t have to wait till March to get the benefits. All the employees will be paid the increased dearness allowance this week.

Dearness allowance was increased from 34 to 38 percent.

The Finance Department has instructed all the departments of Madhya Pradesh to deposit the bills of the increased allowance in the treasury. Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s government of Madhya Pradesh had on January 27 increased the dearness allowance of the employees getting the seventh pay scale.

He issued orders to increase the dearness allowance from 34 to 38 percent. Every month after the 20th of the department, the bills of salary are deposited in the treasury so that the salary can be given to the employees on one date.


The Finance Department had implemented the CM’s order from January 27-

State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced the increase in dearness allowance on January 21 itself. But after this, on January 27, the Finance Department had issued orders to increase the dearness allowance. But during the order, it was not possible to withdraw the bill in two days and impose new bills. Therefore, the Finance Department had decided that the increased dearness allowance would be paid.

Finance Department Secretary Dnyaneshwar Patil said that the departments which had submitted the bills with 34 percent dearness allowance. The bill of four percent dearness allowance will be taken separately from them. After which that bill will be taken and paid this week. He said that there will be no financial loss to anyone due to this.
