CM Khattar’s big announcement – ​​within a month all eligible families of Haryana will get gas connection

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was presiding over the state-level meeting of the ‘Disha’ committee today. During that meeting, various schemes of the Central and Haryana Government were reviewed in detail. The CM said that if there is no domestic gas connection in any house in the state, then such eligible families will be given gas connections in the next one month.


He further said that drinking water is our fundamental right and it is our primary responsibility to provide clean and fresh drinking water to every person. Working seriously in this direction, he has directed the officials to provide drinking water to every household. Under the ‘Jal Jeevan’ mission, before November 1, the work of providing drinking water connections in every household will be completed. All the dhanis are also being covered under this scheme.

Chief Minister Khattar has directed that meetings of district level Disha Committees must be held every three months. At the same time, he further said that in the state level meeting, all the District Deputy Commissioners should also be included in the next meeting so that any kind of problem coming in the districts can be discussed immediately. The CM further said that in view of the Kovid epidemic, special vaccination camps will be set up for the staff of the schools.

He said that now gradually the situation seems to be normalizing, yet in view of the possibility of re-emergence from this epidemic, this camp should be organized for the school staff at the earliest. During this it was told that till now about 1.5 crore people have been vaccinated in the state. Of these, 36 lakh people have also received the second dose. The CM further said that no child should be deprived of school education in the state.


Instructed the officers

He instructed its concerned officers to trap children between the age of 3 to 18 years so that no child would drop out. To secure the right to education, it is our responsibility to ensure that every child is trapped and taken to school. The CM directed the officers to make necessary arrangements to ensure that the benefits of social security honor pension scheme are given to the elderly and other beneficiaries at the village level itself.

It was told in the meeting that provision of Common Service Center is being made in the new village secretariats being built at every village level. In this, it will be easy for the villagers to take benefits of government schemes. ACS of many departments including Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala, MP Dharamvir Singh, Rajya Sabha member Subhash Chandra were present in the meeting.
